Glacier National Park - 5 days 4 nights (in the park)

With no travel the whole of 2020 due to covid, this was a much awaited trip for the family. We planned this trip in 3 weeks and executed it and are pretty happy, though on second thought maybe we should have stayed a couple of more days in the park.  We were pretty reluctant on the air travel given the fact that our son was not vaccinated yet , but travelled with the utmost care and precaution and glad that all worked out well. Though there are many closer airports to Glacier, we flew into Spokane since we had some Alaska travel credit that we had to use (result of travel cancellation from last year!). The only flights from and to San Diego were late night and morning flights respectively so we were forced to stay the first and last night in Spokane close to the airport and had no choice. I was really amazed with the connectivity at the Spokane airport since the rental car and the airport hotels were all within 5 minutes walking time.  Do you need a Bear Spray? One Day Trip to Dana Point - Southern California

Dana Point is a harbor city in Orange County, Southern California. A very beautiful place and exactly 1 hour drive from San Diego. There are a lot of things that can be done for more than a day, but we went here for a day trip with friends for a picnic lunch. There are lots of beautiful beaches and trails and makes a perfect weekend getaway to get away from the normal routine. We left home around 9:30 AM and reached there by 10:30 AM. Drive straight to the Dana Point Interpretive Center, there are a very few parking spots in front of the center but quite a few road side parking. Dana Point Interpretive Center: There is a beautiful nature trail that takes around 30 minutes, stroll with a beautiful ocean view. This is open only on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8-4 pm.  Harbor Point Conservation Park - Quick overlook point with a very small trail Hilltop Conservation Park - There are multiple trail entrances from the road with a flight of stairs and it is a flat trail overlooking

Portland - Crater Lake - Oregon Coastline - 5 days 4 night

We have been wanting to visit the Crater Lake National Park for a long time. We tried combining it with our Seattle Trip or the NoCal Trip, but it was far from both the places, hence we decided to make a separate vacation just to adore this beauty. We explored Portland and the Oregon coastline as well. I should say that the State of Oregon is so beautiful, very lush and green and feels fresh. This was a 5 days 4 night trip and we flew in and out of PDX (Portland). We visited couple of days before the July 4th weekend. Day 1:   https://goo.gl/maps/s6zJYaNBnyCrtXzPA We landed in PDX around 11 am, rented a car from the airport and headed out. The plan for the day is to spend the day at the Gorge. 1. Our first stop was the Portland Women's Forum State Scenic Viewpoint - This is a geographical landmark on the Oregon side of the Colombia River Gorge. It is a quick walk from the parking lot and the view is breathtaking.  2. Drive down the road to make a quick stop at the Crown point Vis
